Everyone with half a brain will go borg as they should be invincible with someone controlling them that doesn't have an ego the size of 5 million cubes... I think that the ability of the borg to adapt to a given situation decreases as the number of borg increases and their arrogance increases. How many times do they have to say "resitance is futile" and lose before they realise that they really aren't as good as they believe?

i'd assume/expect.. at least if i was making it.. that the BORG would not be a race you could choose... and instead the BORG would be NPC's

then they could arrange wars where the BORG invade... EVE does stuff like that, the admins plan wars and you get an email alert telling you theres a war going on and to stay out of certain sectors... i'd imagine they'd do similar with Star Trek and the BORG

That looks crap. Never been a fan of Star Trek.

The ships you see there, will probs only be available to really high level people, and every1 who has a life will have to be content with going aboard one as a passanger, or if one is really lucky, flying one of those shitty shuttle type ships.

Also, do you think this game will have all the techno babble shite the series does? Will there always be a quick fix out of any situation? " Fuck fighting the Borg, I'll just use my handy "Neon molecule tea cup collector" (trademarked)... look I've killed everything, what do I do know?"

Its not really a franchise for the internet tbh, imo anyhow

Don't know anything about Star Trek, so not too interested.

I think it has a lot of potential for any expansions seeing as it is in space. Doubt that I will try it though, don't think I'll be able to handle the sheer volume of nerds there will be

valid point, there will be a lot of nerds on it.. but to be fair, no more, and no less than any MMORPG... all MMO games are full of nerds, they may not be of the trekkie variety, but they're of the wizards and hobbit variety or dungeons and dragons... its all just as bad

it was originally being made by some other crowd... dont know what happened, think it fell through and the game went in limbo... but the license was still there, so some other developer took it over and scrapped everything the other guys made

i am curious how much it will be different from the original idea... original idea sounded really good, now i think everyone is a Captain, before you could be an Engineer n stuff (i dunno why either)

Op2 Bird of Prey ftw ... tbh if they make this anything like Eve, then it will be a success, the only thing that i think may make it a failure is the fact it's star trek, everything will have to be limited to the star trek universe, which lets face it was never about all out war
