3 New Battlefield games on the way

A sequel to the Console "Bad Company" Battlefield game has been announced, Bad Company 2...

Also that free-to-download "Battlefield Heroes" game (PC only) is supposed to be going to Beta soon. http://www.battlefield-heroes.com/

And now they've announced for PC, XBLA, and PSN, a new download-only (cheap, not free) Battlefield game "Battlefield 1943".  It is pretty much just Battlefield 1942 with high-def graphics.... also they have added the destructive environments that Bad Company has (so no more driving your tank into a tree only for it to stop!)

these games are great, but surprised they've pretty much abandoned the main Battlefield games for PC... like Battlefield 1943 just looks like a rehash for high-def graphics for the consoles... Bad Company was only ever a Console only game... and Heroes is just a fun/free game.... where's Battlefield 3?

i read that the micro-transactions are only going to be to buy fun things like clothes... and that they won't be selling weapons as they want to keep it balanced for everybody.

if thats the case then that's good.. wonder what other "fun" things they would sell though, probably maps
